Are We Truly Ready?

On a recent episode of Coast to Coast AM with George Noory, longtime Disclosure advocate Stephen Bassett posits that the Pentagon UFO report scheduled for June will provide enough information to compel congressional hearings. The witnesses consisting of US military service members such as Cmdr. David Fravor and other solid members of our armed forces are already lined up. Luis Elizondo has spent the last 3 ½ years locating and interviewing them. If events come about in this manner, the hearings will be the biggest television event in history.

Let us add to the speculative fun. If indeed the topic of UAP and US military/government/intelligence organizations becomes the subject of official inquiry in the US Congress, then how soon will other foreign governments begin to hold similar hearings or begin to further declassify their records? We know the former USSR held extensive UFO investigative material. South American governments and France have been quite open with their programs created to study UFO’s. China has reported amazing sightings in the last 20 years, what does their government know?

Note we are not attributing UAP objects to the aforementioned governments. Anyone who has passively paid attention to ufology the last 40 years knows all nations have encountered these craft at civilian and military levels. Theories that these objects point of origin are from an adversarial government while logical to present in the context of due diligence, ultimately fall flat. Are we all investigating ourselves? The US military is buzzing their own fighter jets and ships at high risk of accident to test out their fancy exotic technologies? And they’ve been doing this since the foo fighter waves of World War 2? Ditto for all the other superpowers who also possess these miracle weapons? Nothing is outside of the realm of possibility as we suspect our species will soon know more intimately than ever, but this theory has an extremely small measure of viability.

The June report from the Pentagon will need to state one of these 3 options. The craft belong to America, the craft belong to foreign governments or the craft belong to a non-human intelligence. This narrative expectation has already been established in the mainstream media frenzy on this topic that has captured most of the public’s imagination in the last 60 days.

Most Americans believe some form of extraterrestrial life exists, many more believe this lifeform interacts with our planet and species. The revelation of a non-human lifeform possessing super advanced technologies that routinely buzz our skies is not going to be a massive game changer in their day to day lives. It is not going to cause a panic or individual internal turmoil. Or will it?

The psychology of certainty is a tricky thing. We wish there was a less morbid analogy to think of but let’s consider cancer. Everyone knows that cancer exists, that it takes lives, impacts others, and yet most people unaffected carry on with their day to day existence. Until you receive the life-threatening diagnosis, then everything changes. The reality of the situation changes the individual’s entire mode of operation, worldview in most cases, as the ramification

affects both person and loved ones. What we want to focus here is on the psychological impact – the tendency for people to develop a desire to make things right, to apply an uncommon introspection to their life review, and even spiritual growth, or a confluence of even negative emotions can occur as well. The bottom line is, the psychological makeup of the individual changes drastically when the reality “out there with someone else” is now applied to them.

It’s easy to believe in UFOs and go about your day to day affairs with little to no thought given to what that actually means because it isn’t a fact you have to deal with yet. And your friends and family aren’t talking about it either. We imagine for most Americans it is not a topic one spends time deeply in thought over – but most Americans have seen enough evidence on TV, Internet and through personal anecdotes, popular culture, to come to a belief that NHI exist and are visiting this planet. Now on to pay some bills and call the plumber! We acknowledge a belief but the vagaries of the day are where we spend most of our brain capital.

Until a startling truth of profound multivariate ramifications arrives as fact it is human nature to move forward unaffected. This is useful and necessary. It’s called not living in fear of something that hasn’t happened yet.

But when that startling truth becomes fact. Then what? Are we truly prepared to deal with the knowledge we are not alone?

If you are a person of faith, how does this fact impact the assessment of your religion? Will it change your view of God? If agnostic or atheist, will it bolster your existing viewpoint or degrade it?

How will you view your importance in the world? Will it affect your opinion of the veracity of the human race? Will it change your opinion regarding the future of our species?

Will you consider how this will change the world your children will live in? Will it provide an answer to some questions you have pondered for many years? Will it change your view of social systems? Values? Morals? What will be the socio-economic ramifications knowing there is technology in our skies that appears to utilize no source of energy other than perhaps gravity which is in abundance?

Will it change your view of authority structures? How will it alter your view of governments? How do your human rights align with those of an apparently superior NHI? Do they change?

The rabbit hole can indeed go deep. We cannot say with certainty what the June report holds but it is probably a good idea for citizens of this planet to begin to truly ponder what it means to them personally if the confirmation of the active presence of a non-human intelligence on this planet is finally established as undeniable fact.
