Example: A Spiritual Experience Correlative to Experiences Associated with The UFO Phenomenon

A passage from Buddhadharma Magazine, Winter 2019:

In the year 233, as the 28th Tibetan king Lhatotori Nyentsen sat on the rooftop of his palace, several objects descended from the sky, carried on a beam of sunlight. The first was a silver choten, a symbolic representation of the Buddha’s mind. The other was a chest containing three Buddhist scriptures. As the books came to rest on the roof, a voice resounded from above, proclaiming, “In five generations’ time, there will arise a king who will understand the meaning of these objects.”

Fact: The Federal Government Has Been and Is Currently Studying Unidentified Aerial Phenomena

The Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force is a real, active US government entity. Let that sink in for just a moment. The data on UAP they have collected and resultant analysis has now been requested via Senate Bill S390, born of The Select Committee on Intelligence with the bill sponsored by Senator Marco Rubio of Florida.

The existence of the UAPTF (we might as well start referring to it with this acronym) has now been confirmed. This means since the disbanding of AATIP, the Federal Government still engaged in the study and analysis of unidentified aerial phenomena. The existence of the bill in and of itself functions as a sort of “declassified” item revealing the existence of this program. One could logically assume the Feds were running similar programs prior to or concurrently with AATIP. It had its precursors, and we are not just talking Project Blue Book which dissolved in 1970. Folks, the US Government has been studying UAP/UFOs for many years despite stating in public they had no interest in the topic. Now, let that one sink in for a moment.

UAPTF and the FBI(!) are evidently in possession of UAP reports, data, intelligence and analysis that they have collected over the years and The Select Committee on Intelligence wants it turned over to them. Part of the criteria states: “A detailed analysis of data of the FBI, which was derived from investigations of intrusions of unidentified aerial phenomena data over restricted United States airspace.” I’m going to hazard a guess the FBI has some rather interesting data investigative output concerning UAP intrusions over restricted US airspace.

If the bill is passed, the report from UAPTF will be submitted in unclassified form. This would be disclosure to an extent the public has never seen. We will have to wait to see what is in the report to understand the ramifications for society will be.

Four years ago UFOs were still a fringe topic, mostly avoided or ridiculed by mainstream news sources. And with some good reason, the field is rife with charlatans, hoaxers and caustic infighting amongst even learned, qualified researchers. We are witnessing an example of finger-pointing, my-facts-are-better-than-your-facts right now with the much-ballyhooed, “Wilson/Davis memo.” And now, thanks to comments just last week from President Trump, the deadest of dead horses, Roswell, threatens to resurrect itself.

Today, the existence of UAP is nearly reported as fact by mainstream news via the AATIP/Navy/TTSA/declassified video bundle of investigative reporting and governmental statements. This chain of reports began in December of 2017. In less than 3 years the veracity of the existence of The Phenomenon has increased more than it has in the previous 70 years since Kenneth Arnold reported those 9 unusual objects over Mount Rainier in 1947. This is nothing short of a stunning turn of events. If the bill passes and the report is created with good faith and in adherence to the criteria stated in the bill the ramifications for a wide spectrum of human knowledge and society could be profoundly affected.

Speculations on the Symbolic Nature of The Phenomenon If Consciousness Creates Our Reality… and so forth.

If we were to discover with certainty that our consciousness is a mechanism that creates the reality that we experience then how to explain The Phenomenon? What source repository of experience would trigger singular or collective minds to a degree that a UFO experience is manufactured? Let us engage in some speculation and thought-dialogue here.

Jung’s archetype collective or a similar system of psyche-to-experiential physical representation is a possibility. But from where does that originate? Experience is the sum of… experience. Symbolic archetypes are still based on known objects, animals, colors, etc. that have ascribed meaning. What is derived from whole cloth into human experience? Language and symbols are. Symbols are especially interesting; they are frequently created as geometric drawings, representations of a diagrammatic item that does not exist in nature. In some cases they are representative of existing tools, such as a key. But a symbol, such as a circle, a hexagon, a cross, these are creations from human imagination. They did not exist in nature until humans created them. I believe this is why symbols are so important and closely tied to understanding The Phenomenon. It is also why some recorded events of The Phenomenon could approach a categorization of elaborate performance art. This is a possibility researcher Greg Bishop has mused upon before.

For my part, it dawned on me the Billy Meier hoax is essentially a large, long running multimedia performance art piece. But then I began to progress in my thinking that perhaps sightings and events with document credence also have some aspects of performance art. In many cases the behavior of the craft, the visual aspects, the occupants and chain of events are of such high strangeness and absurdity that they closely mirror an artist’s elaborate performance of operatic surrealism. A review of the vast body of literature reveals the percipients of these occurrences are often profoundly affected emotionally and spiritually. The effects can be similar to those that result from one’s experience with great art, especially highly stylized music, visual art and film. There are those who are deeply moved by performances of Mozart or Brahms, or by viewing Titian, Monet or Picasso.

Not Everyone Is Missing The Point

We are mostly in agreement with this interesting post from UFO Conjectures. But as has been discussed here, AATIP/Navy videos are not a “sideshow” in the research of the Phenomenon. It is a valid situation worthy of notice and research due to the expertise and reliability of the witnesses, evidence and sociological implications of the events. Roswell on the other hand, is a dead horse. Let it go.

The best point made in the post is the short shrift the “consciousness, reality, multi-universes or parallel worlds,” angle gets from the field. The nuts and bolts ET camp can be dogmatic in their viewpoints. But again, as stated here before, there is room for both possibilities in our universe. Where is the absolute law of the universe, which we still know very little about, that states you cannot have advanced craft capable of locating itself within other regions of space from vast distant origination points and physical/craft phenomena that can manifest itself from one dimension or parallel universe to ours? There cannot be a binary of these possibilities? Illogical.

It is prescient that Brian Greene’s book, The Hidden Reality is referenced. We highly recommend this book as a research point for application of its content to the study of the UAP/UFO Phenomenon. The body of science performed around the existence of parallel universes is growing. It offers profound implications to the credence that intelligences other than our own may exist slightly outside our ability to perceive them.

Pentagon Declassified UAP Videos: Significant Implications

While the rest of the world was dealing with Covid-19 the Pentagon did a thing. The official declassification and release of three Navy encounter UAP videos by the Pentagon is a highly significant event. Let’s break down the signifigance of the event.

It signals Pentagon acknowledgement of UAP, not just from the Navy. This is an escalation of the veracity of the videos and testimony of the events that occurred.
This didn’t need to happen – there wasn’t a huge demand from researchers or the press that the Pentagon officially release these videos, the previous acknowledgement from the Navy was enough to satisfy most people. Thus, the question is why didn’t the Pentagon feel the need to let a sleeping dog lie? Why did they choose to continue to feed this long running news item surrounding the videos, Navy, To The Stars Academy, Cmdr. David Fravor, et al?
The Pentagon’s statement makes it clear all the objects in these videos are classified as “unidentified.” Note, this does not mean extraterrestrial, foreign or any other designation. No such words were used in the statement. What it does mean, significantly, is that the Pentagon, the United States governing body of the military superpower of the free world, considers all three of these objects, after intense scrutiny and formal investigation, to be of a nature in which they are not capable of identifying any facet or attribute of said objects. This includes propulsion, design, shape, maneuvering capabilities, radar signature and any other attributes by which they study and observe craft within the Navy’s operating air space. Yes, unidentified is a loaded word. One need only review the Blue Book material to gain an understanding of that word’s connotations.
This is, “disclosure lite.” The Pentagon now admits there are unidentifiable aircraft interacting with its fighter jets and ships that display observables that are inexplicable to known maneuvering and propulsion characteristics of any craft. It is not a leap of logic to conclude these ships are something other than what has been built by human engineering. And if they are, the implications around the required level of secrecy and the type of power they display has profound existential implications for the future of humanity.
Said implications open the door to further independent inquiry and investigation of the three encounters. This is a huge win for journalist Leslie Kean and the New York Times along with To The Stars Academy and their very public spokesmen, Tom DeLonge and Luis Elizondo. And can serious ufology think of a better time to be alive?
The story went global in the mainstream news sites fast. The UFO/UAP reality is continuing to emerge out of the shadows of fringe and ridicule. Serious people are speaking about it now. The story appeared on every major news website the day the videos were released. Both politically left and right news outlets ran the story. Indeed, even casual consumers of news would have been hard pressed to have at least missed the headline link in social media. From those of us who have been relegated to obscurity while talking rationally about this topic for years, you’re welcome.
The Pentagon release was commented on by former Senator Harry Reid of Nevada in a Tweet: “I’m glad the Pentagon is finally releasing this footage, but it only scratches the surface of research and materials available. The U.S. needs to take a serious, scientific look at this and any potential national security implications, the American people deserve to be informed.” Harry Reid’s statement is so packed with subtext it likely will garner its own post on this blog in the near future.
Thursday, President Trump, who is the only president to admit publicly that he has been briefed by the Pentagon on UAP encounters, specifically the same UAP videos that are now declassified, commented to a reporter at the end of the interview, “That’s a hell of a video. I just wonder if it’s real.” Reports I have read seem to indicate that President Trump brought up the video during small talk at the end of an interview regarding Covid-19 and other matters with a Reuters reporter. President Trump, who previously expressed skepticism that the Navy encounters were extraterrestrial now seems to be moving toward an open-minded stance.
Domino effect – ufology, both good and bad, can now view the mainstream acceptance of the existence of unidentifiable phenomena operating in our air space as a rallying point to spur further investigation, commentary, reporting and theorizing. Surely there must be some level of vindication felt by many this week. But let not small victories hinder our zeal. For the universe is vast and there is still much work to be done.

Electromagnetic Response to Mass Meditation?

On April 4th, 2020 numbers of groups of people initiated a coordinated mass meditation event which was intended to remove the coronavirus from the planet. The event was coordinated on Eventbrite and can be found here.

The event was to last for 20 minutes starting at 10:45PM EST. During the time frame an increase in the Earth’s Schumann resonance correlated to the meditation event.

Keep in mind, this is only correlation, no causation can be attributed. It could have been a dearth of lightning occurred at various global locations coincidentally.

It is not known how many people took part in the coordinated meditation. So if focused intention can lift the instances of electromagnetic waves on the 7.83 Hertz frequency, we don’t know how many minds it takes to trigger this response. Or why this particular frequency can have its entropy increased?

But it is very interesting to ponder.

It would behoove the scientific community to conduct experiments of this nature using large groups of people spread over different points on the globe. Measurements do not need to be limited to just the Schumann resonance.

There is a dearth of hard science on the possibility of psi phenomena going back several decades. When this research is looked at from a macro perspective, it is not difficult to conclude that psi abilities are a reality. The degree of which is not as perceived in most people’s minds, if they think that psi is like what they see in movies and television, they would be incorrect. Psi power appears to be a more subtle capability, people are not moving heavy objects with their minds, but precognition ability in many subjects is an established fact over hundreds of research sessions. Remote Viewing capability is also an established fact. So much so, that the U.S. government funded research and operational viewing sessions for several decades in classified programs (and likely continues today). So, if we take it factually that some degrees of psi ability exist then we must continue to determine to what range of extent these abilities can be employed. Does mass meditation with environmental effects fall into that range? If so, the implications for humanity’s relationship with the planet and the universe become even more astoundingly profound.

Metron Deep Research: A Statement

Research conducted by Metron Deep Research supplies credence to the theoretical constructs regarding the deeply symbolic nature of the UFO/UAP phenomenon. Various shades of this theory exist with the most prolific, and in our opinion, relevant, being the Vallee Hypothesis (VH), sometimes also referred to as the Interdimensional Hypothesis (IDH). For our purposes and the sake of simplicity we will use the VH designation going forward. Note, this is not a statement confirming acceptance of the VH as the definitive categorization of the phenomena. It is our assessment that there is room for both the VH and the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis (ETH), sometimes referred to as the “nuts and bolts” hypothesis of a presumed highly advanced craft visiting our planet. More on this idea in later posts as the research begins to take form.

While this blog is new, the research that compels it has been conducted over the last 4 years with thinking along the various lines of the topic going back years further. The research is ongoing and likely will be for the remainder of life. We are in this for the long game.

Part of the reason to join the many researchers already in the field is the realization that perhaps there is a new set of approaches that can be contributed to the voluminous body of work already produced over the last 6 decades. Fundamentally, a data-driven and analysis approach that previously lent itself well to the arena of business and software development that can be applied to research of the phenomena. Data driven analysis was first posited and created by Jaques Vallee, perhaps inspired by his friend, French researcher Aime Michel who pioneered the approach of using sighting correlations along geographic location lines, time frames and weather conditions. Vallee, having access to a computer (there were no desktop PCs in the 60’s) began to create a database of sighting and observation data. Much of this early data analysis approach was detailed in the book by Jacques and Janine Vallee, Challenge to Science: The UFO Enigma.

Interestingly, Vallee’s data approach led him to realms of initially hard to classify but consistent attribute patterns reported by witnesses and percipients of encounters with the phenomena. The hard science approach soon had to adapt to deal with the realms of fable, myth and mystico-spiritual aspects that were unavoidable in any objective research of the phenomena. Thus the Vallee Hypothesis began to take shape.

Suggestions that the VH is not in the purview of hard science are erroneous. Now more than ever, humanity needs a serious study of spiritual concepts, art and history in context to knowledge which may be correlated to the evolving science of quantum physics, artificial intelligence and quantum computing. Knowledge gaps have siloed too much of our understanding of the universe around us and our place within it confined to locked up reality boxes that function too far apart from one another, denying humanity a holistic understanding of the nature of existence. Endeavors such as Metron Deep Research will attempt to bridge that gap.

Ica Stones of Peru – Hoax, Legitimate, Both? A Case for Open-Source Research.

The Ica Stones of Peru are thought by mainstream science to be a hoax perpetrated by a farmer, Basilio Uschuya who sold several hundred to Peruvian physician Javier Cabrera Darquea. Javier also purchased 300 of them from two brothers who collected pre-Incan artifacts. In all, it is estimated there are 15,000 stones with interesting carvings on them designated in the Ica category.

Basilio eventually admitted he created the stones he sold to Javier Cabrera. But his stones are only part of the total count of the stones. Jesuit missionary, Padre Simon first found stones of this kind in 1525 in Peru. Samples were even sent to Spain in 1562. Many of the stones were dug up in the 50’s and 60’s. More were found under a house that was built in the 1920’s. This may be a situation where a mixture of forgeries are mixed in with legitimate artifacts inherent to the region.

But the main issue with stones from the perspective of mainstream science is that they tell a story of human inhabitants far more advanced than they are thought to be for the historic timeline they are purported to have originated from. The stones depict men interacting with dinosaurs. Either these stones were made at a time of this supposed interaction, 13,000,000 BC? Or in a closer period of the distant past in which it was common knowledge that at some point humanity was present when dinosaurs walked the Earth. Either way, it makes for a fantastic story, which if true, would turn history on its head.

The stones are said to also reference Nazca lines, depict scenes of heart or other surgeries and depict strange gods or beings. The Nazca lines are an interesting connection that play into the narrative of mystery that surrounds them as well.

We can’t really know the genuineness of all the objects unless a methodical stone by stone categorization was conducted, dating an approximation of each stone’s creation, identifying each as either a forgery or a legitimate artifact. It seems difficult to reproduce the level of craftsmanship over the course of 15,000 individual pieces. Thus, this warrants much deeper investigation than has been apparently conducted. It could very well be that a majority of the stones are actually quite ancient, and probably depictions of concepts, histories and other ideations in line with proper historical context – nothing extremely fantastic such as carvings of men riding dinosaurs (yes, this one exists).

There was one book that was written on the subject. Secrets of the Ica Stones and Nazca Lines. The reader with interest is encouraged to investigate the book. I have not had a chance to do so yet. The book purports to prove that dinosaurs and man coexisted at some point in time.

The stones serve as an example of a blended fact and fiction forming a confusing perceptual narrative perceived by casual or semi-serious interested parties. Especially when no detailed analysis from more than one source on the subject in question exists in the public sphere. Uninvestigated mystery brings wild speculation, dubious claims, ulterior motives serving to shape narratives. A busy humanity tags a complex or factually voluminous situation with “true,” “false,” “hoax,” “fake news,” “it happened,” labels and goes about their day. An accretive worldview forms over periods of time.

Ideally, one could imagine a proper catalog, as stated previously, should be created which posts the photograph of every single stone in the collection. There is nothing wrong with categorizing those of dubious origination (hoax) to those that appear to be legitimately very old. One wonders why this isn’t an open source project – a library of stones could be uploaded for public research and consumption while physical inspection, dating of objects origination period could be performed by archaeologists in conjunction with input from the Internet hivemind.

An open-source research approach seems to be appropriate for the stones as an example of placing an oft dismissed, under-researched, possibly anomalous postulation into the hands of various analysts. Thus a denser body of consensus knowledge can be formulated which penetrates to a deeper understanding of the nature, origin and veracity of the Ica Stones existence.

Kaggle has made 44,000 documents provided by the White House available on their website for text data scientists to download. The challenge is well defined and specific questions are asked to be solved. You can access the challenge and files here.

This is a chance to further prove the power of textual data analysis. Significant work on categorizing the docuements has already been completed. By rapidly querying and analyzing the content of the documents, insights previously unknown or correlative data that bolsters knowledge of the virus will be gained.
